Callyco Fabric Shop, Cambridge

Things are really catching up on the crafty scene in Cambridge!
First a lovely bead shop and now this beautiful fabric shop on Peas Hill.

I popped into CallyCo on Saturday after a recommendation from a Twitter friend. It is such a beautiful shop, everything is arranged nicely with vintage style shelves and racks along with rolls of fabric at every angle. They also sell buttons, trim, ribbon, storage and all kinds of sewing accessories!

What is really handy for a hobby sewer like me is that they sell fat quarters and remnants, I picked up two rolls of cotton - one purple (obviously) with spots and some nice blue stripy fabric. I think I'll be making these into bunting, I did forget to buy any trim though!

If you are in Cambridge and love fabric I urge you to pop along for a nose around, they also have a branch in Stamford, Lincolnshire.
